University Garden UIBK

The university garden offers outdoor space for teaching, learning and research in and with nature. In this environment, teaching can take place and scientific questions from a wide range of subject areas can be explored. Especially contents from education for sustainable development, such as understanding global material cycles or nutrition and food security, are very well embedded in this setting. Other topics such as knowledge of species and biodiversity as well as language-sensitive and interdisciplinary teaching can also be taught here.
