Difficulties in reading in early classes run through primary school, children often prefer to reach for mobile phones and computer games instead of a book. With children growing up multilingual, the target language German often represents an additional hurdle. Our project would like to deal productively with this area of conflict, and explore and show new ways of inclusive reading promotion. How can diverse, interesting approaches to books be designed in order to create reading incentives, how can innovative ways be opened up to open up book content that at the same time promote reading skills?
